Predicting the new iPhone Deals

With the announcement of the new iPhone XS, XSMAX & XR finally being revealed. most of us are now wondering what the potential monthly payment plans will be. Let’s take a look at what is currently on offer to give an idea of what to expect.

Purchase Price

You can currently purchase an iPhone X from around £999 – £1149 from a couple of places, as Apple have now actually removed sales. So, there is not much in it when you can purchase the XS from £999, the XSMAX from £1099 and the XR from £749.

This gives us hope, that with these similarities, the monthly payment plans that will be offered to us may just be as affordable as the current X plans.

Monthly Plans

EE are currently offering monthly payment plans for the iPhone X that range between £58 to £73. With upfront costs between £10 to £100 for the handset dependant on storage requirements.

In comparison Vodaphone’s monthly payment costs are between £54 to £79 and upfront costs ranging from £49 to £249.

Looking at other Mobile service providers it appears they are all fairly similar in their contract premiums but the handset costs can be considerably higher from one company to the next.

EE have consistently offered the best deals over the last 12 months in regards to the iPhone X. With the bonus of it also providing the fasted 4G network in the UK. The monthly cost has not budged any lower than around £50 so we are predicting a target monthly deal of around £60 to £65. The upfront cost of the handset an optimistic £100 upwards.

The pre-order is available from 14th September for the XS & XS MAX and available to purchase on 21st September.

The more affordable XR will be available for pre-order from 19th October and for purchase 26th October.

You are most likely to end up paying out £1500 upwards for these new devices, but you can make savings most likely by buying the device outright and purchasing a SIM only deal.
